BoingBoing received an open letter from, what appears to be an engineer, (more likely someone from the PR or Marketing Departments) describing the blissful “Joys” of working in an environment with no “lines of demarcation segregating futurists from the present applications of science.” Really??? An engineer huh? Doubt it. Much!
Anyone who has ever worked in any Engineering Department anywhere knows it’s an “Us against Them” environment where budget constraints and deadlines are the rules of the day. But hey, I could be wrong. Not likely, but I could be. Hit the link to read the complete and unadulterated version.
